Working with the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Government, we designed a clear and accessible guide outlining the rights and responsibilities of land ownership for Nation members. Information that is typically buried in long legal documents and technical language was condensed into a simple eight page pamphlet that makes key rules and processes easy to understand.
The design uses clear hierarchy, straightforward language, and a restrained colour palette drawn from the existing Ucluelet brand. Local landmarks are highlighted throughout the document to create familiarity and recognition for residents while reinforcing the connection between policy, place, and community.
