Working with the Canadian Sablefish Association, we developed a communication system to share fisheries research that connects seafloor habitat observations to spatial decision-making. Using data from deep-sea autonomous cameras, the research quantifies gear–habitat interactions and embeds habitat risk within a spatial Management Strategy Evaluation framework.
